We have taken numerous steps towards increasing workplace diversity.  Our MBE/WBE Outreach Program looks to stimulate a more diverse workplace and job sites in a variety of ways.  We maintain a current database of qualified subcontractors and suppliers and also encourage non-minority bidders to include minority firms as suppliers or second tier subcontractors in their proposals.

Additionally, we use workshops to help instruct minority-owned and women-owned firms with project introduction, bid package identification and preparation and prequalification.  Our outreach to MBE and WBE subcontractors includes advertisements in construction and trade-related newspapers and postings on bulletin boards.  We frequently attend of trade fairs that promote diversity in order to meet and recruit new MBE/WBE suppliers.  Ultimately, Transworld Construction is dedicated to workplace diversity and diversity on our client’s work site as well.

In short, Transworld Construction has been extremely successful in meeting all public agency requirements for MBE, WBE, DBE, LBE and DVBE.  Transworld’s public outreach program varies from project to project due to each project’s different criteria.  Transworld Construction intends to meet, if not exceed, all goals and requirements.
